Typically Etched Glass Signs are made from 1/4” and 3/8” thick tempered glass, although other depths are available. Typical Sizes range from 12"-36" in height to 24"-72" in width. The glass can be a regular clear glass or an optically clear starfire glass, which doesn’t have a green tint to it. Your logo is then very precisely vinyl etchted or sandblasted either on the front or the back of the glass to give it a certain desired effect. Sometimes the sandblasted, carved glass is also paint filled to match a customer’s unique logo colors. Saifee Signs can paint in a variety of colors including metallic colors, and PMS matched colors. Quite a few of our customers prefer an etched / frosted background for the glass because the frosted background helps the glass sign to “stand out” against a monotone, solid colored wall or a busy wall paper covering.
